Hello R-Pod owners. First post here and looking for input from you about the various bunk house models. Pro’s, con’s and lessons learned. Plus general info on what to look for in a used trailer.

We are not new to RV’ing, but have been out of the hobby for 5+ years. Did some tent camping with the kids last week and realized we really like (miss) the scene. I don’t want to get back into a large trailer and have actually been watching R-Pods for a few years. They seem like a great fit for a family that gets along in a tent...but is tired of walking to the potty late at night and being twarted by rain.

So please unload your advice! Thanks in advance

We purchased the 182G model which has two bunks in back and the queen dinette/bed up front.  The mattresses on the bunks were topped with two inch foam toppers right away and that helped with sleeping!  We love them because they add so much room for us and grandkids.  You do have to be somewhat limber to make the top bunk however!  I use a small foldable step stool and do just fine on top! You also can remove the foam from the top bunk, fold it back and use the bottom bunk for seating, but we really don't need that.
