Water drips from my city water inlet, presumably because some back-flow preventer valve is stuck.

I'm not very sophisticated, I'm thinking I can just blast some city water in and wake the valve up(?).

Is this even a problem?

If so, is there a better, more effective cure?

Thanks for any comments

Pull the screen at the inlet, you will see a little pokey thing.. jiggle that. Replace screen.Be leak free.

Thank you very much, Furpod.
