P2 brake controller noise? Can't remember.

Haven't used the pod in over 6 months. In the meantime, got a new TV.

Hooked up the controller (with an OEM plug).

When I press on the brakes, the controller does a tick sound on the brake press.

I can't remember if it always did that?

Are you sure P2 is making noise? Could it be a relay or possibly a switch associated with the brake? I don't recall my P3 making a noise.

Tekonsha said it was the rely, which I know it has. Something about it needing it so the car doesn't get light out warnings, etc.

I will verify next time I am hooked up, and then maybe wrap it in some foam so it is not so annoying.

It only does one tick, when brake contact is first made.
