| Hi guys, I'm just wondering what you guys throw in your "just in case tool kit" stuff like, screws, nails, zip ties, electrical tape... etc... maybe a list of what you bring, and if it's special or unique, why it is worthwhile item. Thanks for any input! Gabe |

| Most of the time I do have my Tool Bucket in the back of the Vehicle but in the R-pod I keep a screw driver set that has all kinds of ends to it (like about 40+), Plastic Zips, Black Tape, gorilla Tape, Hammer, Hatchet, Adjustable Pliers, Screws, Super Glue, Wrench and may have some other things also. |

I don't carry anything I'd call special. In my toolbag and hidden around the r-pod, I've got: - screwdrivers - ratchet & socket set - socket for the water heater drain plug - allen keys - miscellaneous screws, bolts, nuts and nails - spare fuses - spare light bulbs - utility knife - hammer - rubber mallet - duct tape - good quality two-sided tape - zip ties - twine - cotton rope - hatchet - bow saw - folding shovel - collapsible bucket - folding step stool - rechargeable drill/driver (with a socket adapter that I use to raise/lower my stabilizers) - drill bits - flashlights - scissors - extension cord - power bar For water, I've got a 25 foot white RV fresh water hose. But, on 99% of our camping trips, there is no onsite water, so we fill our fresh water tank from communal spigots using: - 3 collapsible 5 gallon containers - 12v live well pump that I've adapted with a water jug cap and a short hose. The pump empties a 5 gal jug in about 45 seconds. Where allowed, I'll also drain grey water on-site (note: we only use environmentally-friendly soaps and toothpaste and very little in the way of food particles get down the drain) - garden hose adapter - 25' garden hose I've got one 50' and one 25' 30-amp extension cord for the r-pod, plus a 15-to-30-amp adapter. I also have an air compressor, jack and lug wrench that can be used with my r-pod that I keep in my vehicle

I have some of what's been mentioned, but I'll add: - "water thief" - some state parks have unthreaded spigots so you can't attach a hose to fill your tank when you get there. You can buy an official water thief or just make your own. Piece of hose with the threads on one end (if you don't have an old hose you can just buy the threaded part at Home Depot), and either a large funnel or soft rubber on the other end that will grip the park's spigot. Attach your regular hose to the threaded end and fill normally. Will only be used for a few minutes at a time so it doesn't have to be perfect.
- spring clamp. I have a dozen or so and use them all the time to clamp up tarps or extension cords.
