I have a 2018 R-pod 189 and thought I was tech savvy...

There are two cable ports outside the camper

There are two ports in the bedroom

There is one cable running to the main tv...

Where do the two outside port cables go?

How do I switch the tv's from antenna to cable?

How do I select from the two outside ports?

Wow, a wiring diagram and basic instructions would be nice...

Anybody know?

Thanks,

Jim

Hey Eck, I have two outside connections available, Cable and Satellite. The selection is made on the menu for you TV as far as to where you want input to come from. You can choose Cable or ANT or add a satellite. The Satellite connection it appears requires a cable move the Cable and Antenna are menu options.

Thanks, but without a wiring diagram and understanding the switching, that is still confusing to me

I think satellite often requires two cables due to one cable not having enough bandwidth. I think by default the TV is connected to the internal cable that terminates under the "TV" label on the outside. To use cable TV, plug the campground cable into that jack and turn off the booster. The booster is controlled by a small button on the inside wall plate for the TV connections.

One cable input is for campground cable if you have it at the campground.  The other is for satellite if you have a system.

Do you have a factory antenna?  Does it have the wall plate with two outlets and a small button to turn on the built-in amp?  Similar to this diagram below.  This is an older diagram with a 12vdc outlet.

Your's may have two coax output connectors, one for antenna/campground cable and the other is connected straight to the satellite cable that goes to the input on the outside of your camper.  The satellite cable does not go through the amplifier because your satellite receiver has to have a "straight shot" to the satellite antenna.

Link for wiring diagram, since I can't post photos:
