The last time I took the R-Pod out I found a paper wasp nest in the refrigerator compartment. I found a cheap and easy solution. I used a plastic bag that we use for our under counter trash can in the kitchen. I cut the bag in half length wise, then cut that in 1/2 which gave me pieces for both of the vents. Just lay it on the open door, then close it up. Last is take a pair of scissors and trim around the closed door. Just remember to remove them before firing up the fridge. I did the same thing for the water heater door. Here is how it looks when finished:

I bought a roll of fibreglas screening material and cut strips slightly larger than the vent slots. I then taped the strips with 'Gorilla Tape' to hold the screening on the back of the vent panel. When running the venting of the exhaust has never gotten warm enough to worry about.

I went just a bit further with my vent covers. I purchased the fiberglass mesh screen and cut it oversized for all of the vents on the street side of my 'Pod. Then I wrapped the edges around to the inside and used a hot glue gun to attach them. With a little effort they came out nice. I'm more concerned about the mud dobbers than the paper wasps.

We cover our vents with screening that we purchased from Home Depot cut to size. With our situation, we are able to use magnets so we can easily remove them. I'm only posting this thinking that maybe someone could mount magnets on the pod and cover their vents. Just another idea.
