How often is it necessary to sterilize the tank? And, what is the procedure?
This is one of those things I come across once in a while but never heard about from the dealer.

Start of season, and anytime the camper sits more than 4 weeks. The procedure is outlined in Tech's Owner's Manual files in his sig line.

I am not a periodic sanitizer because I generally only use treated city or municipal water. Just like my house, never sanitized it. If I were to use untreated water, i.e., well water I would more consider sterilization. Anything you mix and put in the tank for awhile is not going to be more effective than treated water from a municipal source. Aside from that we carry drinking water that we use for drinking and cooking.
