Many thanks for all the good advice and help from forum folk! When I saw a post advising drilling holes in the battery box, I was puzzled since it has a cover. Did not notice those little vents on the top. But I believed, so I checked. Oh, yeah, it was full within an inch of the top of the battery! Took that puppy out and drilled those holes right away. One more task done and lots more appreciation for this forum. Thanks again.
