Well, now to find a list of other potential WMA's. I didn't know about this in VT! Thank you.

Looks like it's a weird season thought: ii. Self-contained camping on sites designated by the Department for this purpose, for no more than 16 days during the periods of May 1-31, September 1 through December 15. No individual parcel will have more than three designated sites for self-contained camping unless that site's use has been demonstrated to have preceded January 1, 2007.

There is a site at the bottom of Lake Willoughby and 2-3 up by South American Pond road that I know of. Also some in the state forests through out the state just not sure of their exact locations.

Looks like a bit of research ahead to find a map. So far 'no joy' on my end of searching. I will keep trying though.

In need of a place on my way back end of July from the Nor'east Maritimes!

Would love to find something real nice for the end of of the trip! Northern VT would work of great!

Been on both, yet thank you. The VT site is for hikers.. They do have a pretty good Mao to go by.

I'll let you (et all) if I trip across something.
