Just went on our first shakedown cruise and I have a few questions for you veterans--We have a sewer hook-up and I just want to know how it diverts from the holding tank--is there a valve you switch?---also we don't get very good reception from our radio--anyone else have that problem--Thanks ------------- grizwalsh |

When you look under the Pod, you should see the dump valve with a large handle protruding to the side. Simply pull out on that handle to initiate the flow out of the holding tank and into the sewer. Push it back in when done.
As for the radio, take a look at the inside wall plate where the TV cable connectors are. You should see a little button on it. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking so I'll give a long explanation. There are two holding tanks on pods for waste; a black water tank (for the toilet) and a grey water tank for the sink and shower. Each tank has it's own outlet on the street side of the pod, probably fore and aft of the axle. Take the cap off, one at a time, black tank first, hook up your sewer hose, put the other end in the receptacle for the waste, pull the T-handle out and the sewage will come gushing out. When everything is out of the black tank, close the valve, take the hose off and put the cap back on. Move to the grey tank outlet and repeat. Rinse your hose and any mess you may have made at the dump station. TT ------------- 2010 176 FJ Cruiser |

Hi--me again--the tv is on the wall just inside the door and I can't see any button near the connectors--the radio is on the wall over the bed--I have a r177--would this make a difference? ------------- grizwalsh |

My Jensen also has weak reception. 2017 R172, has a black wall plate, two jacks, one LED, one push sw. Top jack is for feed from shore cable input, bottom is for antenna, amplified/not amp. So how does the radio get it's feed? Are you saying there is a spliter in the wall after the amp? My truck gets twice the stations as the pod. The amplifier mounted on the wall plate splits the signal into three one for the TV, one for the radio, and a third for a second TV, which larger RVs may have. Sean ------------- Sean & Christine Whitney 2002 F150 2016 179HRE
