Is there a scent free Grey Tank treatment that works?

I am unclear about the jack location for a tire change.  I understand that the axle tube is not the place to use, but what exactly is the right spot?  And, what do you carry for a jack?

Thanks.

Tom

I use the liquid (yellow color) stuff that comes in a bottle at Walmart. Works great and has no scent.

I use Happy Campers powder (follow directions.) No scent at all. Works great in black and gray tanks. You can get it on Amazon.

Now if I can figure out what kind of wheel jack to get, I'll be all set.

I tested my TV-Ford Expedition scissors jack on my Pod in the driveway.  I am happy with that so I see no need for an additional jack for the Pod.

It is tipped to one side The red arrow shows where to place the jack. ( not to computer savy) It is a photo of where to place the jack to safely jack up your pod.

Leo,

Hmm, thanks again, but it looks as though you have taken a photo from some kind of manual-- I see what looks like some printed instructions in the picture.

What did you take a picture of?  Maybe I can find that.

And again, I know what you mean about lack of computer skills, so I apprecite your efforts.

Tom

A bottle jack works perfectly and takes up little room.  The top of the jack fits perfectly right under the perch that is welded to the axle and then to bolted to the frame (IIRC)....either right in front or right behind the axle.  Make sure the trailer is connected to your TV for stability.

Thanks.  Would that "perch" be directly behind the center of the wheel?

yes....right at the frame....it attaches the axle to the frame.  Was really wanting to make a jack point by some metal fab and welding or bolting...on the list.  But really, the bottle jack works great.
