I have the bauer lock on my rp182g that came with the pod.  After spending way too much time messing with this thing, the best i get is locked out of the pod, literally.  it will engage and lock and give me a long beep which means that it did not fully extend, but enough extension to lock me out.  Since it did not fully extend, then it is unable to retract and you are locked out and must use the key to unlock. This is the first time i have tried to use it since buying the pod new in 2015. i am wondering if i need to drill the door jam to allow clearance for the bolt to fully extend?  has anyone else dealt with a lock like this as i don't know if they are standard on the pods or not. Confused it looks like this:

Loosen the mounting screws a little bit, use the key to extend the deadbolt, check for clearance, then tighten the mounting bolts again.

I also had this problem on both my iPod and my RV and I just took a file and had to file down the strike hole a little bit until it worked perfect.

I can't speak for that brand of lock, but we bought an RV Locks keyless lock and it was a perfect fit.

One additional thing to check are your batteries.  My lock did the exact same thing as yours, checked my 4 batteries and one was low in power, enough to cause the scenerio you described above.  Changed all 4 out and worked perfect after that.

We have this one:
