All, the Ohio based company we bought our rPod from failed to deliver if with the water tank plug?! Censored

I was going to do the overnight rinse, sanitize, and flush but that didn't happen.  Luckily our 3 years old came down with a fever so we're ok putting our first voyage on hold, but does anyone know off-hand what size it is?  I can run down to the hardware store and get one? Hopefully.

It is 1/2 inch, get nylon or plastic, not metal.  Your other option, which some have done is to get a 1/2 inch plastic valve,  that way you can screw it into the tank and open and close the lever to drain instead of inserting/re-inserting every time you drain with the possibility of losing the plug.  I just use the plug, only drain my water 1x/year when winterizing.

I went with the 1/2" NPT valve, modified it a bit to shorten length, put the plug in safe place. Drains with flip of lever.
