I haven't dug in deep enough yet, so I thought I'd ask.

There are dual cables to the battery. I figure the heavier gauge (haven't measured it yet 4-6g?) is supply back to the unit. The lighter gauge (10-8g) is the charge line from the unit.

Am I even close?

I'm getting very used to the new meter and like what I'm seeing so far. My numbers are very close to what I thought they'd be.

Looking to confirm my baseline to continue testing the DC system.

Thoughts?

The lighter ones are from your solar plug on the side.

All the electric jacks I have worked with don't use a ground wire.

yep...true.  Guess I was thinking about the positive wire he might be seeing....but you're probably right on the solar connections.
