Hi folks,   I am needing a little advise for my 2017 180.

at the end of the season last year, I found lots of water in my tail lights.  The running light function had only 6 or 7 led's lighting up.  Turn signals lit up slightly more.  Within a couple of days, I was down to only one led working on running light mode.  But, turn signal still had 8 or 10.  Some of the led's that would not work on running mode, worked on turn signal mode.
I am bringing the Rpod home tomorrow from being stored inside my warehouse for the winter.  I have new identical replacement tail lights that I purchased last year.  I felt new lights would solve my problem.  Now I am not so sure.  I have wiring diagrams for trailer plug and truck plug and plan on jumping with a battery to so what comes on.

Since some LED's will not work on running light mode, but will work on turn signal mode, do you think I have a short.  Wheel fender marker lights working fine.  Spoiler lights working fine.

Any trouble shooting help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Joe  Karen and of course Bessie the Bassett

Just a function of wet circuit boards.. Replace, recaulk, be happy. (I drilled a small weep hole in the bottom of my lights after changing one out that half filled with water.. never an issue after that.)

Your new lights may be designed to have only "x" number of LEDs lit in running lights mode then with brakes/turn signals the remaining LEDs light up to make the assembly brighter.
