Hi All! I just noticed this hump in my ceiling. Its not wet, and I can push on it easily and put it back into place. It seems like their might be joist there, as there are some staples you can see in the photo. Did the staples just pull out, Is it safe to re-staple it in that location? You might consider using a stud finder to see if it is happening where the 2x2 cross framing is. If it ain't wet, then it's not likely due to a leak. You are probably right that it's a matter of some staples pulling out of the 2x2 roof frame or maybe the guy with the staple gun missed hitting the board dead on and only caught the edge with one of the two prongs of the staple. ------------- Never leave footprints behind. If it was caused by a water leak, it should cause some discoloration and/or streaks on the walls. So I would look around for "escape routes" to see if there is any sign of that. Hello. Good idea on the stud finder. I will try that. I looked around and don't see water escaping. As for warranty, yes it is. But if it is as simple as this, not worth taking it to the dealer for me.
