Good Morning. True or False. The placard posted on my 2017 179 states that the the Cargo Carrying Capacity is 232 KG including 113 KG of fresh water. Question is, if I travel with no water, can I carry an extra 113 KG dry wt. Thank You.

The CCC is supposed to be all-inclusive, but your 232 KG is way below what ours is (we have a RP179 with a posted CCC of 411 KG, or 908 lbs). Ours also clearly states that the CCC includes the 113 KG in the fresh water tank. So the CCC should include the fresh water.
Is yours mislabeled, or maybe you have a non-HRE (ours is an HRE)?

HRE is Hood River Edition. It has higher ground clearance, and the larger 15" tires (that have a higher load rating).
Ours does not have the awning, but does have AC, TV, dual batteries, etc. According to the Forrest River web site, the base CCC is over 1000 lbs (453 KG). So I think that is the starting point before any accessories are added.

I have the same model. The awning must be pretty heavy. The sticker on the screen door states 811 lbs, and I guess that includes 36 gal water.

Wow. I can not believe that the awning weighs that much. I would think that it might add 30-50 lbs (or 10-20 KG if you prefer) at the very most.

Being used to motorhomes, the TT is a whole new ballgame. Thanks again for your help. Lenoard.

After taking another look, I don’t see anything that says HRE, althought it has the 15” D rated tires eith fancy rims. I went to the Thule awning web site, and the awning weight is 50 lbs.
