Our Pod came equipped with a WFCO power center, as I believe most Pods do.  The other day I noticed that its cooling fan that runs when charging on shore power wasn't working.  I checked to see if I was getting a charge at the battery and the most I could squeeze out of my multimeter was 0.002 volts.  I went to the WFCO site and downloaded their trouble shooting diagnostic tree and found that my converter was in need of replacement.  I called WFCO to make sure I wasn't in error and confirmed the need for replacement.  They also told me that there had been many upgrades to the converter and that my old one was too old to fix (I was thinking of a spare).

I ordered a new WFCO converter from Amazon and put it in yesterday. It was super easy to replace.  WFCO has a video on how to do it, but it's so simple that the video really wasn't necessary, except to know where the retention tab is located for the DC distribution panel board that you have to take out to run and connect the new charging cables.  The who job took less than half an hour and, now having done it once, would probably take less than 15 minutes.

So, if  you're noticing your converter isn't working, don't lose hope or pay an RV service place a gazillion bucks to fix it.  You can do it yourself in less than half an hour for only the cost of the part.  Note that there are different amperages of converters.  The one I replaced was a 55 amp, which is what I got for the replacement.
