I'd like to add a storage compartment door on the front left of my trailer.
Has anyone done this?
Does anyone know where I can get a door frame to match what Forest River used?

Thanks,
JIM

a couple people have, at least one made his own door and frame. You can contact FR for a new door and frame I believe..

Which R-Pod? I know on the 179, some of the plumbing takes up space in that area, so you'd have to figure out a way to move it.

I made my own, because narrow doors that I needed are not around.

Wow! That is a really nice door.  It looks much better made than ones available from the trailer supermarkets.

Where did you get your materials?  How did you come up with such a nice door frame?  Did you make it or repurpose one that was used for something else?

Actually it is German ingenuity.

That too.  But those cold winters in Edmonton leave lots of time to improve on the German ingenuity.  ðŸ˜Ž

My stepfather was a tool-and-die maker, among other material skills. I think he may have been able to do that quality of work. I commend you on your skills.

Well thanks but I'm not going to make my own doors :-}.  Nice job.

Just looking for a supplier of doors that match what is on the trailer now.
I'll see if I can contact FR, see if they will co-operate.

Thanks!,
JIM
