I just bought a new 2017 Rpod. I noticed when you turn the stereo off a clock is displayed, thus still draining the battery. I know enough about stereos that this will drain a battery in 30-60 days and destroy it. Whenever i flip all the breakers it still stays on. Any advice on how to turn the clock completely off during storage?

The radio is not the only draw there is also the CO and LP detector, put in a battery cut off switch.

Welcome and congratulations on your R-pod.

Put a battery shut off on your battery.  Several posts here on the forum on how to accomplish it.

A) Flipping the breakers does nothing to any of the 12v items.
B) Disconnect your battery, either by removing a cable, or by adding a battery cutoff switch.

Another item that drains the battery is on some of the new three way refrigerators the gas valve is an electric solenoid that is electrically engaged as long as the gas portion of the refrigerator is operating.  The best results with the battery during storage is to remove it and if you can put a trickle charger on it at have or at least on charge once or twice a month.

Or just remove the positive cable from the battery

Yep, if trailer is in storage - why not pull battery, take it back to house and trickle charge until your season begins. If it is in storage with no charge capability why have a battery in it.

Always remove the negative side first.  Safer and no way to short out or make a spark.

I might not use my camper for a couple of months which would drain the battery so I was thinking of a quick way to kill the power to the battery.

I remove the battery in the winter. No reason to leave it in the camper if you won't be using it. I figure that leaving it outside unused all winter isnt the best for it either. It might not hurt it, but It doesn't help it.
