Hello everyone thank you for accepting me into your forum. I see it’s a request to have new members talk a little bit about themselves. Our little family girlfriend and son just bought our R pod 179 last Oct from Couch’s RV in Hamilton Ohio. We are new to travel trailer camping so please forgive me if there was a question that was asked and I asked the same question. We can’t wait To start our adventures

Welcome and congratulations! We got our 179 in December, 2015 and have had a lot of trips with it. We enjoy it a lot. I hope you have many adventures and make many great memories in the process.

The forum has a good search function. Use of it will help you to avoid some of the redundant questions. I have made a number of modifications to our 179 which you can see by looking at my mods (link in signature).

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new Rpod.  We bought ours from Couch's but we don't pick it up until the end of the month (24 more days); can't wait.

Are you surviving all the snow?

Welcome aboard eJohnson.  What part of Minnesota are you from?  We just got 6" of snow today and it is still coming down at a pretty heavy rate.  People here just drilling taps in the maples for collecting sap for syrup so spring isn't too far off.

Welcome, we're new to the board and just purchased our first rPod.  Ours is being delivered from out of state so we don't have the luxury of a walkthrough with lessons on how to set it up.  I've camped in one before but for a new pod, what advice do you have for getting it ready for use?
