Any suggestions on how to remove the cover on the outside light by the battery to replace the bulb? Either the clear cover snaps off somehow or the whole thing is removed. But I don't see a screw holding it together.

Slide a small flat tip screwdriver up under the bottom side (middle) of the lens cover. You should find a small slot there. Gently lift up and out.
