We've picked the 2nd weekend of April to pick up the trailer and start the Mods. I am very excited to receive her and get this new chapter of life started!

First step was naming her and we choose 'Lily'. A play off Lily Pad.

Very important to us: Bedding. We found what we believe will work as a good pad to work up from. I bought this and got a good deal by buying two. $107 for both.
http://https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FELZ3TW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FELZ3TW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Then came my disappointment of lack of USB charging ports where I believe will want them most. To this end I bought this:

and some 18650 3000mah (listed as 3400mah, but testing out between 3050-3170mah) batteries for it. This will allow charging from anywhere in the trailer and re-charge from the TV when driving.
Batteries I bought direct from China:

If your going to buy from China, this is a good site to do it from. Buyer beware for there are some non-reputable vendors on there. This company I bought for is highly recommended by bike builders for their batteries. I should mention, the ones I would are button-top. I had to Mod the unit for them to fit.. Better buying flat-tops.

I found TT batteries that I believe I will go with and need to check out the deal on them. Also complete my research on just how good they are.

These are 230ah batteries listed at $110 ea. Requiring two, $220. 10% off for online purchase $198. I've been able to bring my old battery and get the core discount before, so if I can with these at $18 each.. Should be $162 (I have a couple to recycle and they typically don't care if they're the same).
I'll update how that goes, but at $168 for 230ah of power, ya I like this!

Oh yes we are!

Look forward to your reports on your Solar! I have 2 130w panels that I plan now to only bring one for testing and see how it goes. How big is your system?

We're on the edge of the name for the TV (it's also new to us). Rubert is on the top of the list!

Traveling in Rubert & Lily (sounds like an amenable pair). Kinda like it so far!

Comes down to power use. A Usage analyzation comes to mind..

I did it and found I can get down to 30amps daily.

Work out what you need to run and usage. Then what you think you'll get in return.
100w panel, with losses will give at best 80% of rating, if you pay attention to the sun. Heck, we won't cause we're out playing. So say you get even 50% since you're out playin.

You're close to what I'll be doing. How you do, and what you use is important. Think about this seriously. What small items do you use that doesn't require your TT battery drainage.
What does?

Do you need another? Have no clue.. I don't think I do..
