We are looking for recommendations on camp grounds in Canada from Niagara Falls to Sault Ste. Marie.
We are doing it in August and have never been up there ever and would like to see any point of interest.

Thanks

The prov. parks are great. BUT you must book 5 months in advance to ensure a site. They fill up quickly.

We too are heading for Canada this summer but going the other direction.  Banff in June.  We haven't pulled a camper (pop-up) across the border since the early 90's.    Will be taking our pod this time.
We are looking for advise regarding the crossing and then towing w/in Canada.  We will taking Highway 1 after we cross but are not sure where that will be yet.  Will probably be different on our way there from on our way home.  Don't want to see the same things up and back.  We already have our passports.

Are there restrictions as to the food we can bring across?  We plan on having enough for while we travel but then will resupply in Banff for the 6 nights we will be staying there.

Alcohol is not an issue for we rarely travel w/ any and we don't own or travel w/ firearms.

Should there be any items we keep in our TV rather than the pod so that we can access them more easily?  Things that we might be asked for @ the border.  ID's, vehicle info etc. is already there.

Will I need special auto insurance info from my agent regarding the TV and the TT.  My wife and I are both on Medicare w/ a supplemental.  Will we need a bridge policy to cover us while we are in Canada?

Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide.
All the best to all of you, safe podding.

We made that trip in the Fall of 2014, spent several nights each in Killdear and Chutes provincial parks, and crossed back via Sault Saint Marie. The Canadian parks are great. Crossing the border was no problem though they did search our trailer. Bear spray is an item of interest but OK. You will need passports. Take a long heavy extension cord if you want hookups. Some of the power poles can be >100 feet away since each pole usually serves several sites.

Check with your insurance agent before you go. There is a Canadian cert you can get but we were never asked for one. Get one just in case.
