Our 2013 177 has the TV and entertainment unit in the center of the back wall directly above the bed. I know that the newer 177's have a larger TV on the other end of the trailer near the table but we do like watching TV from our bed. Has anyone moved this TV/entertainment unit somewhere else in the bedroom area and enlarged the size of the TV at the same time? We moved it, but didn't enlarge it.. at 4 or so feet away, well, it's big enough.. LOL. I built a shelf over the "foot end" of the bed, moved a 120v outlet to the back of the shower wall, and mounted the tv/cd/dvd/radio combo to the bottom of the shelf. Worked perfect. We enlarged it in our 179 (to 24") but didn't move it. :)
I did have to build an extension onto the bracket so that it would fit flat against the wall when stowed and I have replaced the "head" with a compatible one that swivels up and down. ------------- Alan 2022 R-Pod 196 "RaptoRPod" 2022 Ram 1500 Lone Star 4x4 Three cats |
