So given the 1,200 mile trip south, I decided on a bit of insurance and purchased the EEZ Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TMPS). I read the reviews, balked at the $270 price tag, and watched a year-old Nathan Moss YouTube video (Less Junk, More Journey) review it. I even contacted Nathan and asked how he liked it after a year. All the reviews, including Nathan's, were good. The price was a tough swallow, but I did it. So after 1,200 miles one-way from Michigan to Florida, I have to give it rave reviews. It is really top-notch and keeps you constantly apprised of psi and tire temp. I bought the four caps to cover the 179 two tires, its spare and the Tundra spare for now. The nice thing is that it is expandable, so I may buy four more caps for the Tundra (although it has the factory system already). Any way, just thought I'd write this initial review.

Thanks Pilot Podder. I also have been looking at this system as my old Silverado does not have a TPMS. Looking much harder now.

I cheaped out on a system that does the job, although it's only 7 channels (six sensors came with it) and is really designed for trucks with dual rear tires on each side. After having those two blow-outs on the same trip with the factory tires, it provides peace of mind.
