| have a 2018 182g. Must light the stove top cooking burners manualy. Is this normal or should there be igniters? |

If you want igniters you have to put them in yourself.

You can add just about any gas grill igniter without too much trouble. I put one of these in and mounted the button in cabinet panel immediately below the stove.
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Electronic-Igniter-Kit-660-0002/206338499 - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Electronic-Igniter-Kit-660-0002/206338499 It operates from a single AA battery that's easily replaceable. In addition to the cabinet panel hole, I had to drill a hole in each burner pan for the electrodes. When I push the button, both burners get a spark. |

I thought i saw where someone installed stove top igniters with pictures. Ive done a search and found where there is info on where to buy the kit. That has been done, now I need the pictures. I just finished mine using a piezoelectric push-button igniter (no batteries needed). i reposted the pics of the ignitor. i have since adjusted the probes so they dont reside in the flame and get red hot any more. works fine.
