have a 2018 182g. Must light the stove top cooking burners manualy. Is this normal or should there be igniters?

If you want igniters you have to put them in yourself.

You can add just about any gas grill igniter without too much trouble. I put one of these in and mounted the button in cabinet panel immediately below the stove.

It operates from a single AA battery that's easily replaceable. In addition to the cabinet panel hole, I had to drill a hole in each burner pan for the electrodes. When I push the button, both burners get a spark.

I thought i saw where someone installed stove top igniters with pictures.  Ive done a search and found where there is info on where to buy the kit.  That has been done, now I need the pictures.  Can anybody help me out?

Thanks Tex, I just picked up the igniter kit at Ace hardware for $14 and plan to install it next week.my wife is thrilled!

I just finished mine using a piezoelectric push-button igniter (no batteries needed). Pictures are in my mods (link in signature) on the (current) last page.

i reposted the pics of the ignitor.  i have since adjusted the probes so they dont reside in the flame and get red hot any more.  works fine.
