Thanks for posting that.  Always interesting to see the upgrades from year to year.  In light of that, I am very pleased with our 2011  177 and plan on keeping it for many years to come.  May think about an A/C unit to add on ours, but then again, we would have to camp where you have electricity (not available in national parks or wilderness areas).  Noticed also that the 190 weighs in just under 3000 lbs, 500+ pounds more than our 177.  End result, you will need a 'beefier' TV to haul it around.

Thanks for posting-  I actually like the layout, but like jato I'm not sure the upgrade cost from our 177 is worth it at this time.  It still does not address the "athwartship" bed shortcoming, and I think we would still end up having to use the settee as a sleeping area.

The bath layout is very cool but we normally camp in State Parks with access to fine bath house facilities making the better (but still tiny) shower somewhat moot.

Anyhow, thanks again for the info.

Not impressed with 190 or 189. Looks like a 178 with an improved latrine and a wardrobe, many of the other improvements I have already made. Still just one choice if you want the rear kitchen the 179 has which is cool. Not worth trading my improved 178 for.

I checked out a video on the 189, it has a pretty nice lay out, but I think we have more room and a better flow with our 179.
Just spent 5 weeks in it.

+1 LeoB....viewed the video on both units.  They're pretty nice - no doubt about it....but I don't think nice enough for us to get rid of our 179!

Seems like they gained some weight and lost some floor space. I do like the added exterior storage compared to my 179 though, and I do like that bathroom...
