I installed a Dometic 310 white toilet in our '17 Rpod 180 (Green)  The shower is white and I wanted everything to match. I plan to change out the lavatory as soon as I find a white one the same size as the bone color. Will  the lav in the 2017 1/2 be the right choice. If so, where could I purchase one? Maybe FR

Hello Eddie and Madeline, We have an R Pod 178 and are considering installing a Dometic 310. However, the Forest River installation guide on this model claims that the distance b/t the center of the drain pipe and the back wall is ten inches and we measure nine and a half inches in our lav. Can you advise me? Happy travels, Tony and Barbara Vodvarka

Don't know the  the distance in a 178 but there is plenty of room in our 180 (dry bath). It may be less in your wet bath. Good luck.

Indeed, I looked up the 180 floor plan and there seems to be much more room. Thanks.

A friend of mine has a 178 and I measured the space for the toilet and you should have plenty of room to install the Dometic 310. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply. I went online to the Thetford owner's manual and found that the 310 requires eleven inches while the Thetford Aqua Magic Style II requires nine and one-half (the distance available in my 178). I ordered it from Amazon.
