Hello everyone! My wife and I are new to this forum and have been looking at the r-pod for several months now. We finally decided to buy the model 178. It is on order and should be arrive at our dealership in 1 month...we can't wait!!
We camped for many years while our children were still at home and traveled all over the country. Our children are now gone, married, and with children of their own. All 3 of our kids got campers this year and finally convinced us to get our own once again. Round two....but now with grandchildren!! We look forward to being part of the r-pod community and forum! |

We just purchased a used rp - know almost nothing (especially regarding electrical, towing safety), and have done nothing more than some camping over the last couple years. Any suggestions regarding best information sites to check out (I've been looking at Sokol!) are appreciated. Looking forward to the spring and getting on the road!

Welcome and congratulations! I hope you have a lot of enjoyment from your R-Pod and make many good memories in your camping adventures. Two things that would help: What model R-Pod? What tow vehicle? The search function of this forum is your friend. I have found many helpful topics that way. For your tow vehicle (TV), does it have the factory tow package? Is it equipped with a trailer brake controller? Answers to these would be helpful in providing information or links to information that would be useful to you as you learn.
