Just started a three week tour of Oregon/Washington and here's Crater lake on friday

And Lassen national park on Thursday Boondocking outside the south entrance.

both places were 20 degree nights,so we headed for the coast and it's 74 degrees in Brookings.

Have seen so many pods it boggles the mind.
Stopping by Dalles, Oregon feather River factory to tour the plant next week!

Astoria was awesome!

Don't forget the Blue mountains in eastern Oregon. No one ever goes there.

If I might make a suggestion -- If you took the foot off of the trailer jack you would be less likely to bottom out coming out of a filling station driveway.  And it looks like a wire has extra slack in it. j

John, as a rule I remove it when traveling, we dropped the pod to drive up to the lake and I had just hooked it up. The trailer whip pic is deceiving it really doesn't hang that low. After we head up the coast we plan to come back down through eastern Oregon... Keep the suggestions coming!!

Had to laugh when saw pic of snow at crater lake! We drove there in September (not with our pod) and it was snowing. Ranger told us, roads closed and no views of the lake....bummer. So we continued on to Portland and never saw the lake. Did get a couple of cool shot glasses and now we say "to the lake we never saw!". Were in northern cal so will try next summer to see crater lake.

The Painted Hills near Mitchell, OR and Wallow Lake near Joseph, OR, are worth seeing.

Evan,
It was snowing so hard that day and the ranger told us the same thing, So we drove to Lake of the Woods (2 more 20 degree nights) and ran up to Crater Lake the next day.
and we stopped at Lost creek lake near Medford and it was 70 degrees and beautiful!
Then we drove up the coast from Brookings stopping in all the cool towns and wonderful state Park campgrounds(Oregon has it down), Even Boondocked on the Rouge river and ended up here...

Voisj. Nice pics! Your right about Oregon doing it right. We noticed all the campgrounds while driving and even the highway rest stops are nice. Stopped at one and they had a creek running by it. We just relaxed by the creek. Stop by a California rest stop and what a difference. Dirty!
