Completed a three night orientation to RPod last week within 30 minutes of home.

Although didn't use propane, did successfully get the tanks sanitized, running and hooked-up.  Found out the tongue leveler I bought was useless, but as advertised other RVers helped me get that done correctly.  When checking trailer tires, found one low and a nail embedded!  Again, received help from the maintenance crew at the park and directions to a nearby tire "healer" who patched the tire perfectly.

Despite the trepidation of this first outing, I thoroughly enjoyed it (although my cat a bit skittish) and look forward to next trip, again near home, to complete my figuring-out-practice.  Thanks for your support and help in this process.

Before long you will become a seasoned pro at all this.  Much to be thankful for like noticing a low tire at the campground instead of having it go low, en route, along the highway and having it blow out or go flat then!  Thanks for the update, you are doing great.

Congratulations on the first outing. Good catch on the tire. Keep an eye on them for sure.

Congrats and good work! I was thinking about you yesterday and betting you'd come back with a great report. You're so wise to be doing these close to home shakedown trips. Glad you had a good time!

Congrats. It gets a lot easier. Between my wife and I we get the interior, exterior and camp site setup up in about 45 minutes. Chairs, awning, fire pit, table, grill, etc. Have improved backing 1,000%. It had been a long time since I had backed.
