There are on the Facebook Group.  Travis Mattingly posted them there.  Not a lot of change really.

They are pretty nice, just wish they would turn the bed the right way. A little interested in the 189.

Actually it looks like a major change for us who want a dry bath.  The 180 is great but suffers from a  no seating area except for the small dinette.  Both 189 and 190 have large seating area across the rear while still having a dry bath on the side.  Would have to see the size of the bath but it looks like it could be an improvement on the 180 if the bath area is the same.

If they were to go with a wet bath instead of the dry bath and a smaller slide-out (move the wardrobe), there might be room to turn the bed. At best, a full-sized bed (54x74) would work as a queen would only leave 7-1/2" on either side. The wardrobe could be split and a small one on either side of the mattress. Making it into two beds with an aisle between would work if the mattresses were narrower than a standard twin bed size, such as the seat in the dinette of the 179. then an aisle and wardrobe could be put between the two beds.

I am referring to this http://www.sleeptrain.com/mattress-size-chart/education-mattress-size-chart.html - Mattress Size Chart .

One of the big advantages of an R-pod is the relatively narrow width. Yes, it does end up with the outboard wheels, but it also means you can tow without having to have full-on tow mirrors, and it also changes the wind profile significantly. However, it also means that stuffing in a queen size bed is a challenge.

The addition of these two new models probably means that FR is getting a lot of requests for a dry bath, and they're trying to accommodate by adjusting the layout as best they can.

I'm suspecting that at some point, they will bite the bullet and go to a wider body. Maybe add a foot to it (6" per side), and that would allow the wheels to "tuck in" a little bit, or maybe completely. That would give the 'pod 20 more square feet of floor space without a slide out. It would also allow a queen size bed to be oriented the "proper" way (so to speak).

It would also mean that you would not be able to tow it with a smaller vehicle.

Choices, choices.

Nope. They have the Surveyor line for that. Made in the same factory. By the same people.
