I just bought a 2015 RPOD 177.  Everything is working great but when i have the trailer plugged into 110 and i adjust the thermostat to FURNACE the heat does come on but so does the air conditioner.  Any idea why the cold air also comes on?  The solution is to unplug it , but i can't figure out why the4 air comes on with the heater.  Any thoughts??

set your thermostat to auto instead of low or high that it's on now.

There is a period of a few seconds in step 3 when the ON/OFF LED stays on, but it will go out.

Thank you so much! I will give it a try.  But in step 3 if i go to off, how will the heater come on without being in Furnace  mode?

There should be a step 4 that says to press the mode button again until you get to Furnace.

I have the same issue with my 2017 RP-178. (My thermostat is different than the picture shown.) I found it easiest to simply flip the circuit breaker for the A/C if I only want to use the heater. The heater and thermostat run off of 12-volt and the circuit breaker stops the 120-volt to the A/C (and the noisy fan!)
