I recently became the owner of a used R-Pod 182. The previous owner said the AC unit was out and I've scheduled time with the local R-Pod dealer to have it serviced, but I thought I try to diagnose the issue here if I could. I've looked and haven't found the same issues.

1. AC unit will not cool. The compressor never kicks in. The Fan mode does work once set on the thermostat.

2. The Dometric refrigerator doesn't work in AC mode. The red warning light flashes with the AC icon. I read similar issue and found the electrical outlet behind the frig by removing the access panel. I verified the outlet was plugged in and still received the error. I decided to plug the frig in direct  to my house outlet and the error clears. After running overnight the freezer was at 2 degrees. Do I have a electrical problem?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a possible broken wire/loose connection to the AC plug behind the fridge. Check the voltage there, because if it works plugged into the house, then it sounds like juice is not getting to the fridge.

I fixed the refrigerator AC power problem. The GFI plug located under the bunk-beds on the 182 was tripped. I reset the plug and the error was corrected.Big smile
