Our R-POD 180 has been sitting idle for about 6 weeks and it has just started making rapid 4 beep patterns at about 3 second intervals. No appliances are on. It is not plugged in to electrical. When I disconnected the battery which still had a 1/3 charge, it stopped beeping. Does anyone know what this might indicate? ------------- Bill and Betty Lawless |

And.. letting your battery get that low is ruining it. Really. Disconnect when not in use if the Pod can't stay plugged in. Most owners add a quick disconnect switch. about $10.

Even with a disconnect switch (which I think is a good idea, so don't get me wrong), you should consider trickle charging it if it's going to be idle for 6 or more weeks. | We keep ours connected to shore power for charging while it's stored in its storage unit. We're not really supposed to, but it's such a small drain and I do shut off the electric water heater. |
