We are new here. We want to buy a Rpob 180 in spring 2018. We will tow with a Dodge Carave SXT 2016, V6, 3.6L and 283hp and 260 torque at 4400rpm. Towing Capacity 3600. We will add load and antisway load bars. I already have a transmission cooler to install. Is it a good combination? We are retired since 2009. We will do a lot of road and western canada and usa. Are there any of you who have this set up and how do you like it? Thank you for welcoming me and I am sure to learn a lot from your experiences. Bernard and Julie from Bécancour, Qc, Canada. Welcome to the Forum! I can't say if this is a good combination. As far as the horsepower and torque is concerned: torque determines whether you can do something( like go up hills) and horsepower determines how quickly (at what speed). The towing capacity seems marginally adequate but I suggest you get other peoples input. I tow my 179 with what I had which is a diesel pickup. ------------- Enjoy Life!! |
