What does it mean when the thermostat flashs between the temp and E4? The AC works ok, is it something to do with the bluetooth?

Just do a hard reset.

How do you do a hard reset?  And where can we find a list of the error codes?

Hard reset is done by shutting it down and disconnecting the 12v feed, usually by pulling a battery cable, or with a cut off switch. E4 will often clear just by turning the system completely off and back on.

Error codes are in the installation manual.

I tried disconnecting the battery, but E4 keeps flashing. Anybody know what it means and how to make it stop??

did you also turn off the converter? it can't flash if it doesn't have 12v.

How do you turn the converter off? I thought disconnecting the battery turned everything off.

if you are plugged into shore power, the converter/charger is where your 12v is coming from. The battery(ies) only provide 12v when the shore power is not available. On every Pod I have worked on, the converter charger was on the 2nd or 3rd breaker.. BUT the easiest way to handle it is just shut off the top (30A) breaker. That will cut power to the whole pod.

I turned off the breaker and disconnected the battery at the same time, and it worked. thanks. But I still don't know what caused it and how to avoid it...

Just a glitch. We have had it reported a few times over the years. Our pod had the analog thermostat, as does the Airstream, in fact it has one for a/c and one for heat... and the new Lance has a digital one, but different brand.. So, truthfully, all I learned was how to fix it, not what caused it.. LOL
