Rpod will be our next camper for sure, just don't know which one. Just sold my 1990 bigfoot in great shape. sold it in one day first buyer.
I have an Toyota FJ Cruiser 4700 tower cap. I'm hoping it can tow pretty good. We like the 179 and the 171 is a little lighter. That's we are at now. Live in Vancouver, WA.

Sal, Spend at least an hour in the ones you are leaning toward, the 171 and the 179, takes notes on each and list the +'s and the -'s.  Sleep on it and discuss it, after that it should become a bit clearer as to which one you will settle on.

Welcome to the group!! I agree with Jato!! We started in a 171 and loved it, then we checked out a 179 and really liked the larger kitchen and the extra room that the slide out provides!!
Cant go wrong with either!!

Hi Sal,  We also have a 2010 RP151.  We have had the trailer for 4 years.  We love our 151.  Be aware that is small and lacks a lot of the storage space that the newer models offer.  You have to choose bed or table.  We leave ours as a bed and usually just eat outside.  It is very easy to pull and seems well built.
BTW we paid $7400 for ours 4 years ago.  you might want to work on getting a better price.

Happy Trails...

The 151 is nice . . . however after checking that out you will be amazed at how much more room you will have by looking at a model with the slide (like our 177) or the big boys like the 179 or 180.  Our 177 is pretty light IMHO at 2420 lbs, lighter than the normal 177 because we special ordered ours to come without the following: A/C, microwave/convection oven, and entertainment system.
