Yeah, Leo, but what did catch your eye, the bright purple, lime green, electric blue, or candy apple red color?

I see StarCraft has also joined the "clone-club" with their 18DS copy of the 179.

We just brought our brand new RP 179 home yesterday. Looking around online we discovered that nearly every manufacturer has the same floor plan as the 179 including a number of forest River brands. Everybody copies everybody else. Hopefully the competition improves all of them.

We saw a Starcraft "Satellite" today out off of Highway 1 in California. By the location of the door, I think it was a model 16KS. It looked brand new, and we did not approach because it looked like no one was home. Looking at their web site ( http://starcraftrv.com/travel-trailers/satellite/ - https://starcraftrv.com/travel-trailers/satellite/ ), it looks like the three models they have are similar to existing R-pod models, if a bit heavier.

The web site says they come with an electric tongue jack standard, and they all appear to come with an awning. The awning is different, in that the awning case extends with the awning (i.e. it's not attached to the "pod".

A couple months ago, we returned after a hike to find a Winnie Drop in the site next to ours! It was the red, looked like it belonged in a fire station. The one thing I did like about it was the single black and grey water connection, but it was quite low. The owner was checking out my axel risers, as he said he has almost torn the waste connection off a few times. He also liked my stabilizing jacks which looked a lot more robust than his. It is indeed a copy of the pod, too bad they have to copy instead of coming up with something on their own.

Really, a single valve for both the grey and black water connection? Yuck,  I guess Winnebago never hear of siphoning which is why every motor home and camper I've know about has separate grey and black water valves. As for the drains being low well we RP owners don't have allot to crow about there since that's one of the "I wish I could change" features about out campers.
