Has anyone had a leak above the kitchen window? We have a 2017 179 Last weekend we were camping and had a lot of rain with no problem but, at the end of the weekend a major thunderstorm. We noticed a small leak with water running down the wall above the window over the sink in the kitchen. Not yet! Our trips have been fair weather so far but we did pull it home through a storm once. It stays outside under the cover. The cover does allow water to seep through but I haven't seen any interior leaks yet. I have heard of others mentioning the air dam on top not being sealed as well as it should be. The windows and roofing need regular monitoring and attention. I caulk the top edge of my "kitchen" window anytime I see a break in the regular caulk and the lite bar above it. Check to see if you have a small, vertical seam in the outside frame of the window at the top. If so, force some silicone into that seam and see if that fixes your leak. We just got ours back from the factory from being repaired and when we had a heavy rain, I noticed water coming in around the frame at that area. Since sealing that seam, I have not noticed any more water. I notified Danielle Bieber at the factory about the leak and what I found. She said she would relay that to the factory floor so they could make sure to check those seams at the factory. Sounds like a trip to your dealer is in order. That should definitely be addressed before it causes significant damage. It could be a stripped screw or it could be the wire bundle that powers the lights on the spoiler was not adequately sealed before the spoiler was installed.

I made my own spoiler, tired of scraping off caulking, so I put a gasket on the spoiler. It is held on by 4 stainless screws with caulk in each screw hole and over the screw head, plus a vent on either end. There are also 4 weeping holes at the bottom
