Can I use any brand of solar panel to plug in to my 2015 179 Pod? Are the plug in adapters universal? Does the r-pod solar unit account for over or undercharging my battery? Thanks for the help.

Yes, you can use any kind o panel.  You may have to change plugs because there are several kinds of plugs used on solar panels.  Changing plugs is an easy matter, you just have to observe polarity; positive to positive, negative to negative.  A multimeter provides an easy way to determine polarity and, in any case, is an indispensable tool
