We're still leaning towards an r-pod 176, especially with two little boys, but the Alto will sure turns some heads.

So do I, but I called a dealer and they run about $27,000 US dollars.... ouch!  They appear to be a great trailer with some unique technology, but at a significant price.

I saw the Safari Condo 1713 listed for $22,000 on the internet.  That's Canadian dollars which converts to around $23,000 u.s.    But, remember, that's the list price.  Who knows about deals.

I love that TT!  Can't stop looking at it.  It is now my fantasy camper.  Heart

They definitely show some style. Still like my pod though.

Real cute, but only one model had a shower/toilet(womans requirement).  Plus if I've driven a long day or just want to rest, I don't want to push/pull/adjust anything.  Walk inside lock the door and lay down.  Hook up what i need after a nap.

I still say it cute, but I love Podterfly.

Oh by the way Thanks for sharing.

They are actually working on a lighter model, less width so less weight. It is supposed to be cheaper but right now they are still going for 30k CAD. Maybe in a couple of year they will be cheaper but I can say I really fell in love with it when I visited one. Too bad I am not rich..

And yes, I am also looking into an Airstream International 23ft when I will retire... which is never with today's economy! :-p

I also look at europeen models. I just love their style. One of these days I should post all the links I have for trailers. That will keep us busy until spring :-p

Thumbs Up  Make no mistake, we love our Pod!

I'm just saying the Alto Safari 1713 is my "fantasy" travel trailer.  Btw, the 1713 doesn't have a shower but the 1723 does.  Mmmm, I told my guy I don't need a shower, the potty is enough.
The roof lifts in one minute with the touch of a button - it's electric.  The bed, frig, etc is accessible without the lift going up!  You just get more headroom that way and all those fab windows.  It's also lighter than our little Pod.  More expensive too, of course!

Very nice unit indeed !!! Very "retro" "sci-fi" type of design. I really like it !!!

The inside open-ness is what Im really attracted to, plus the outside looks are a plus as well ...

To costly if the list is near $30K for the 23'. Thats not much RV for the price.

Perhaps it fits a nitch somewhere, but the cost would be an issue if we were looking, but we're not.
We're good with the 177 for now, until that "Full-Time" opportunity arrives, then its to the "Fifth-Wheel" line with us !!!
