Does anyone know what size beRing buddy is needed for a 2016 r pod 179?

None. Your hubs have a lube system in place. The top of the "hub cap" pops off, under you will find a rubber cover, remove it, you will find a zert.

Elevate wheel so it can be rotated, while rotating pump until fresh new grease comes out the front.

Done.

Everything furpod says but you can put to much grease in and it may end up on your brake pads as I found out. Which while not a big deal it did take a whole can of brake cleaner to get it off.

Thank you. Not sure what a zert is, but I will take a look. I was thinking that a bearing buddy like on my boat trailer would be a great addition.

It has two. Hopefully you will NEVER need to mess with them. Google "shwintek slide motor"

It is actually a Zerk fitting. The patent for the Zerk fitting was granted to Oscar U. Zerk in January 1929, and the assignee was the Alemite Manufacturing Corporation^{https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grease_fitting#cite_note-US_Patent_1697217-1 - [1]} (thus the eponymous names for the fittings). Alemite was already marketing ball check valves to accept grease supplied under pressure from a grease gun, such as for car and truck chassis lubrication points, both for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Original_equipment_manufacturer - OEM installations and for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aftermarket_%28automotive%29 - aftermarket upgrade kits which would screw in as replacements for stock grease cups. But Zerk's fitting was an improved style, less vulnerable to dirt and more forgiving of angled approach. Today, many companies make these grease fittings.

Funny, it is a ZERK, a fitting that allows lubricant injection into an item that requires periodical lubrication. Nothing gets by experts here. LOL
