No, but most people have to try a couple times to figure out they are not "intuitive".. push them farther.

They feel like you are about to break them but you won't. They do feel a little flimsy when you pull them out though. ------------- 2017 R-pod 179 |

The way they lock is weird. I kept pushing them down which made them flush on the support. Made since to me. My daughter got on YouTube and found out we were pushing them the wrong direction. They actually stick out not flush.
