Kris, I had planned on figuring out the photos situation yesterday, but the installation of my new Norcold refrigerator got complicated and I didn't get to it.  And today the complications continued, though there seems to be a work-around.  If we get the refrigerator running, we're off camping and I won't get to the photo instructions 'til next week.  (Camping always takes priority.)

One thing I did learn in my refrigerator adventure, Norcold's customer service is no better than Domestic and the local "authorized service centers" are not necessarily up to speed with technical issues.  Norcold's technical people are not permitted to speak directly with the purchaser/customer.  Their door reversal instructions make Ikea's assembly instructions look incredibly clear by comparison, and the parts identified in the instructions don't match the reality of what is th

Anyone have a better solution for the table conversion to a bed?  We have a 179 and have taken our 6 year old grandson with us on a recent trip.  The current conversion is not very good as the cushions slide off and he ends up on the floor or sleeping on hard table.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

For a pedestal table, try mounting the bottom socket to a piece of 3/4 plywood a little smaller than the table top.  Then it will slide around, and can be taken outside.  Both top and bottom, and pedestal transport on the bed.

Get rid of the cushions and put in a futon (jackknife sofa).

I also have a 179 and would rather not tear up the OEM dinette. One solution I am considering is to cut a piece of rug gripper the size of the dinette table to put under the two cushions. The rug gripper material is available in bulk on Amazon or at a local dept store.

You could also glue some Velcro™ tape on the underside of the table and sew some on the cushions and connect them when you set up the bed.  Velcro™ is what really holds the world together; not duct tape.
