Looking for any suggestions for nice campgrounds in the Hot Springs area and Cape Girardeau. Traveling from Texas with my RPod 180 next week to Wisconsin. Also traveling with 2 dogs so a little grass nearby helps. Thank you in advance.

Just left Bull Shoals White River State Park. Beautiful and lots of dog space. You can be feet from the White River. My Lab loved to swim 3 or 4 times a day. I know it's a little off from Hot Springs, but I came back to Iowa and it was a perfect detour!

I will answer my own question Catherine's Landing in Hot Springs. High class place with a lot of Prevost Mororhomes. Nice place. Thought I would be evicted. 😊😊

Isn't Sol Duc in Olympic National Park, Washington? A little far from Arkansas/Missouri. We were there in May...it really is beautiful. We also love Lava Hot Springs, Idaho. When we lived in St. Louis, Bull Shoals was one of our favorite places to camp/soak.
