I saw the rpod 180at the Shipshewana, IN Flea Market. An open model. Impressive. We called Outpost. Phaylen answered. Nice guy. Not a swarmy auto salesman.

10 year financing at 4.99%. Great price. Located right near where Forest River makes them. At delivery, the walk thru went well. They even had time to install my Max Air fan cover. Answered every question. The 180 was detailed and ready to go.

A couple from Wisconsin Grove down to buy their camper because it was half the price.

See Phaylen. Save money. Great experience.

We also bought our R-Pod from Outpost RV in Middlebury from Henry and had a GREAT experience. Their price was well below our local Camping World dealer. It made the trip from the northern suburbs of Chicago to Indiana well worth the drive.WE picked up our pod on Friday July 15th, spent our first night at a KOA, and then drove the pod behind our Jeep home (through Chicago) to Barrington. My husband did an awesome job.

Thank you for the fantastic information about Outpost RV. I agree 100%. I am sure Tom did a great job. He had a great navigator.

Glad the Frechs had a great experience. What model did you choose? And why?

We chose the 179. We like the extra storage and hanging locker. The size of the kitchen makes a difference too.

While loving the trailer life in our 2014 Rpod 178, we find that we do enjoy TV watching occasionally while camping.  Have investigated the Wineguard antenna but are reluctant to purchase if it really doesn't help with reception that much more than the existing factory installed bat wing style antenna.  Any tried and true ideas or stories.

Also is there a way to replace the Dometic refrigerator black front panel?  Having fun customizing our Rpod and assume its can be done?  Searching for clever storage ideas too!

We also purchased from Outpost and had a great experience.  Our salesperson was Glenn.  We wanted to see a 178 & 179 side-by-side so as to decide which one we wanted.  Outpost had both models.  Their price was comparable to what others were being quoted on-line and what we were quoted from "Big Daddy's" or anywhere else we looked.  We purchased the trailer in February of 2015 and they moved it to the back of their property and stored it until spring (no extra charge).  When we called to make arrangements to pick it up and have our orientation w/ Marlin (another very helpful member of their team) they suggested that we stay the night on their property.  They have 2 sites w/ full hookups.  Their rationale was that people almost always have questions the next day when they get home and this way, they would be right there to answer any questions and check to see if we were hooked up properly.
All-in-all it was a great experience dealing w/ them.
