We just returned from another great trip to the Ochocco Mountains in Central Oregon.
Got an epic hike of 14 miles in to Twin Pillars on Saturday!

Then a shorter hike to Steins Pillar on Monday! We did something completely new for us.....dug for Thunder Eggs....

GrimPod is such a nice upgrade for us after the teardrop! Weather was excellent 70's, no humidity, 50's at night and bright blue skies which are typical for our summers here!

General GrimPod/F150 observations.....(5 trips in now)
1. 3.5 Ecoboost tows beautifully with this size trailer.
2. E2/600 sway brackets hang really low when mounted on the trailer tongue.
3. We still have not set up the Rdome, seems as though were always in a spot with trees for shade.
4. Stabilizing jacks on the Pod hang low, I am considering an alternative.
5. I have gotten by so far with the factory 10 ft drain hose as its convenient.

Looks nice - thanks for posting. Considering the Ochoccos for late August trip. Wondering how hot ir would be?
