   I have a 2010 172 model that I've owned since it was new.  Last year, I noticed the lights were dimming while we were plugged in.  I assumed it was the converter but didn't do anything with it at the time.  As I've pulled it out of storage this week, The air conditioner blower starts ok, but bogs down to a stop after 30 seconds.  Any suggestions?

	Well.. the lights are on the 12v system, and the a/c on the 120v, so not directly related. But yes the converter is on the 120v system. Using a multimeter, check the converter output. A/C sounds like the blower motor itself. Is the compressor kicking on?

	Thanks for replying furpod! Compressor comes on, all other electrical seems to work OK. AC input to fuse panel looks good and output to Air is OK. I just didn't expect to have to change out the blower motor after just 5 years. Is there a quieter version I can replace it with?

	Not that I am aware of. At least not without changing the whole thing. I know the Polar Cub 9.5 is a much quieter unit. But it's +$700 to swap out, plus labor if an owner can't do it themselves.

	Pull the cover off the unit and see if anything inside could be causing this problem before you go and get a replacement. It could be something got in there that shouldn't be there. OTOH, it could be that the blower motor bearings are bad. It might be worth getting it checked out to see what the actual problem is.

	Took it all apart, found that the plastic squirrel cage had motivated itself into housing. The bearings on the motor feel fine, several loose nuts and bolts up there. This thing is a pain to work on -Definitely not designed with service in mind. I'm going bank on it being cool up in Rocky Mountain National Park next week and not worry so much about the Air Conditioner right now. Thanks for the comments all!

	First thing that came to mind after I read your post was grounding. I believe a loose, damaged, or corroded ground point would contribute to both of the POD systems.
